So I've been super annoyed lately with how some coaches do their business. 90% of the time, I focus on my own business and my own clients, but when I saw 2 people posting nearly the same things in a group, I think it sent me over the edge.

So thank you for reading if you're taking time out of your day to learn these tips to help you be a better community builder and leader in your niche!

Lead Your Tribe – Bring You Into Your Biz

Tip #1: If your coach (or if you're that coach) is having you do the same EXACT thing as their other students – This isn't a customized plan. Don't pay thousands for that! I can tell you who coaches certain people because of the content they share in groups AND using similar language. That's not your business… your model might not work into a perfectly fit box and that's ok. People with different businesses work differently. Add some of you into your business since it is your business.

Tip #2: Share YOUR personality. Something I discovered I do myself is that I don't let myself truly shine when I interact with people. Going forward, my goal is to bring a little piece of me in every interaction I have with clients or others (be prepared sunshine).  There are people who aren't really that amazing at what they do or how they teach it, but because their personality shines through, people work with them. Choose to show YOU.

Tip #3: Get out of your comfort zone. As far as we know, this is the only life we've got. Use it, rock it, LOVE it. If you aren't doing something you at least enjoy everyday, there's no purpose, there's no intention. It just doesn't make sense.

Now wait, I know you've got family, koo koo kachoo for you, so do I. I'm not putting my family's needs on the backburner. What happened when I was building my business in the earlier years was that I took side jobs to make sure we had enough.  I worked with clients who weren't ideal because I had to make sure we had food on the table. I've had faith in our life and my capabilities and I worked my butt off to get us to a much better place now than where we were 3 or 4 years ago.

Tip #4: Posting in Facebook Groups is NOT a marketing plan. That's PART of your marketing plan.  Facebook Ads are NOT a marketing plan, it is part of your plan. We're in this new era sort of just post to Facebook groups and create an ad and you're good to go phase and while those are 2 powerful ways to help your business grow, eventually you'll have to think of something else.

Get your funnels together. Instead of thinking about what you want to promote. Imagine your customer journey. Are you taking them through a clean process so they know what the next logical step to working with you is? Or is sporadic and all over the place with offers that don't relate to one another?

It's always awesome to create a business in a way that feels good to you. My whole business model is going to be based on that BUT it is also still a business and you need to think about your target audience and clients and how it looks to them.

I guess a couple of those tips are just things that annoy me, sorry for my mini rant. That's not to say that I haven't done them, because I have done a couple of these. I've been super quiet because of not wanting to shine bright. Well, sweet pea, its time for me to shine…put on some sunglasses because it's getting bright in here ;).
