Today is an important day…you're at the half-way mark, but it's also a time where you're going to make another conscious shift with your mindset. This is all about making a commitment to continuously shifting your mindset. It's all about taking those fearful and negative thoughts and shifting it to positive thoughts. Today is where you will make the commitment to “listen” to your thoughts, acknowledge them and then choose to see things differently.
This day for me has probably been the hardest because it makes me stay aware of my thoughts. I'm already an over-thinker and so really deep diving into this, acknowledging what's going on and moving on has been hard for me. It's definitely not even a “day by day” process but more of a “thought by thought” process.
Before I jump in to the day's commitment actions, here are Days 1-3 if you missed them:
Mindset Reset Day 4 – Commitment
Today's affirmation: I commit to see the positive in everything. I commit to choosing positive thoughts.
Today's action: Put a positive sticky note on your refrigerator and on your bathroom mirror. Seriously! Write out a note that you are proud of or a motivational quote that resonates with you and put it up so you can see it regularly. the commitment to look at it everyday will help you to change your mindset without you even knowing it.
Now again, I know I've said this time and time again but it's not about putting yourself down because you have negative or fearful thoughts. We all do, we've all been conditioned to think that way and so it's really all about reprogramming how you think and allowing yourself to see things from a different perspective.
