It is a beautiful fall week in Wisconsin and I am LOVING it. This is truly my favorite time of the year. I feel like it’s my fresh start. I am planning what I want my 2023 to look like while finishing out this year strong.

I’m also deep in my client’s launch for her annual event, The Planathon.  We are rocking it right now! Our goal was to bring in 7,000 new email subscribers and we blew it out of the water and brought in over 12,000 new people to join us for this amazing free event!

And on top of that, our goal per lead was $9 per lead but we averaged $5.24 per lead which put us under budget by $3.76 per lead.

It feels good to get great numbers for my clients, especially in the online market niche where I know has higher competition. I love seeing their success and how they help their clients. I’m really grateful for that piece of my business.

Things are slowing down for my kids “summer” sports. My son has 3 more football games left and my daughter is done with fall softball but her hockey practices start this week. It’s nice adjusting to their “fall” schedules because we do get a bit more time back.

Although with hockey, she’s going right to three practices a week. That does feel like a lot but she is excited to be with her hockey girls again.

I’m sharing what I am absolutely loving this week and hopefully that sparks something in you to share too!

What I’m Loving This Week

Shark Vertex Pro Powered Lift-Away

We had to buy a new vacuum last week and I am in LOVE with it. Full disclosure – it is a bit heavier, at 12lbs. But it is AMAZING. The way it scoops up all the things on the floor is incredible. I love the durability.

It can get in most small spaces and I love that it’s cordless so I can take it all around the house.

A few things I wish this vacuum had:

  • Longer battery life
  • That it was wider
  • That the level 3 was a bit quieter.

With all of that said, I did not buy this amazing sucking machine because I wanted a quiet vacuum. I wanted to get something that did the job and this MORE than exceeds my expectations.

Un Coupled

It’s a new TV series on Netflix. It’s about a man whose boyfriend left him after 17 years of being together. And his new real estate client’s husband also left her after years of being together. It’s oddly hilarious as they work through their “feelings” of being left and joining the dating scene.

It’s light and exactly what I needed right now.

Hibiscus Tea

For some reason when fall comes, I’m all about my warm drinks and this tea just hits the spot for me. It’s light and just delicious! I've had a cold and it has helped my throat so much too!

Iron Flask Water Bottle

So I have fallen in love with this water bottle. I take it with me EVERYWHERE I go. The only thing I wish I would have done is gotten the bigger one. They have a 32oz one that looks really nice. I ended up getting the 28oz one. It’s awesome and it fits in my car, which is what I wanted. I wanted a non-plastic cup that I could use in the car. And it fits in my cup holder which is what I needed.

Higher Dose Sauna Blanket

This thing has been a game changer for me! My skin, my energy and just my overall well-being feels different on the days I am using this blanket. It truly is one of a kind.

I will actually turn on a training or a movie on the TV when I am in the blanket. It really is a great time to disconnect from all the things.

Some other benefits of this are:

  • Elevates the body’s thermal energy
  • Enhances deep relaxation
  • Promotes glowing skin
  • Improves circulation

I can attest to the skin – I can FEEL the difference when I use this on how my skin feels.

Another thing – you have to wear long sleeves, pants and socks because they don’t want your body touching it, so be mindful of that too. I sweat so much which also helps with inflammation and releasing toxins too!

Meal Of The Week

I absolutely love cooking and I plan to bring more recipes to this website as I create more. But this week I’m creating a recipe from my favorite website. Her website is called Half Baked Harvest and the recipe I’m creating is called Cider Braised Chicken With Caramelized Onions.

It is going to be truly spectacular! I know she said to make it with rice, but I’m creating an Instant Pot Mashed Potato recipe and I think the sauce would taste amazing on mashed potatoes.

3 Things I’m Working On This Month

I’m digging into automations this month. One of my biz besties and I have been talking about how we are showing up for Q4 already and I am just ready to dive in. She is rocking building out her sustainable home business and I am moving this into a direction that feels good to me.

Let me share what’s going on with Soul-Fueled Life and the company.

Updating My Convert Course

I have a Facebook Ads Course and I created it a few years ago. It’s time for me to update it. So many things have changed with Facebook Ads and I just need to map out how I want to update it.

A part of me was going to be dropping the Facebook Ads & Marketing part of the company. I just felt burned out. But then I thought – I really do LOVE doing this work, so how can I showcase my life, my behind the scenes while also still helping my clients.

And I decided I was going to do things different than most people. Anyway… back to Convert. I’m going to update it twice a year and I’m going to make sure almost ALL of the videos are under 10 minutes. I do know there might be some that might be 15 minutes or more – but my goal is to appeal to those who need more support and need help and don’t have the attention span to watch 5 hours worth of videos in one sitting.

I’m also going to be focusing more on the strategy piece too. When you are running marketing campaigns, the strategy and the data are the most important parts. Messaging is up there too but strategy + energetic alignment + data = The real success piece.

Design Your Day Workbook

As I was mentioning above, I’m creating more of a hybrid business strategy. My goal by the end of 2023 is to have an Omnimedia company. A true presence in life AND business AND productivity.

I want to share the recipes, the things I’m loving and the strategies I’m using. I had this it has to be “one way” or the other and that’s just not true. I’ve searched for and found evidence of other companies creating things like this and legitimately rocking it, in their own ways. And I am going to do it too.

Going back to the workbook that I’m creating – this is going to be one of my signature SLOs. A SLO is a self-liquidating offer. I'll explain more about that in a different article.

Mindset

I’ve had the mindset that I am a content creator and strategist but the truth is I’m a CEO of a 6-figure business. I’m not saying this to brag at all. I’m saying this to state the fact that I’m working on my mindset throughout the end of the year to work on my money mindset and how I want to scale my business so I can stay working 25 hours or less. Because balance is still really important to me. And also, I will be working on my leadership mindset skills.

The ability to have harder conversations while staying in a confident, empathetic and loving energy is really important to me. Honestly, it feels like that’s what true leadership is. So I’d like to continue to hone in on my communication and mindset skills.

I also have some residual anger at 3 people that I finally recognized has not left me yet and I need to work through that because it’s not their fault that I still feel this way. It will come with releasing the anger and changing my mindset around it.

Business Things

I am also putting together funnels for the Design Your Day mini course and Convert. The Convert program is currently a one-time price and I’m planning on changing that to a monthly membership fee.

I want to be able to add on calls twice a month with it and so now I need to map out funnels for both products.

I’ll share more about this with you as I do this. I think it’s important to understand how to create the behind the scenes in the business as you’re creating it.

Alrighty, these are the things for this week. I think I’m going to start doing a monthly reset and share that with you too. It will be more about creating goals each month and setting up how to achieve them in your business and life. Let me know if that will be something you’re interested in!
