Oh it is that time again! Marie Forleo's B-School is OPEN for enrollment. What does that mean? Everybody and their grandma are promoting it. I've received 12312 emails already about it and I know that the launch is going to fabulous (clearly LOL).

With that said, I've also seen at least 4 big names who've created Facebook Ads for them and I have no doubt that Marie has her own ads running right now too.  I just wanted to give you a few quick tips and what it means for you.

What Does This Mean For You?

Targeting certain bigger name pages (ahem….Marie Forleo) and similar pages could increase your pricing per conversion.  Not a lot of people talk about this, but it is true sunshine.

On top of that, Amy Porterfield has ads going for her own stuff right now and Josh Turner has his new book out and I've seen 3 people marketing his launch through Facebook Ads.

You'll need to get creative with your targeting. You'll need to think outside the box and definitely use Audience Insights tool to help you see what other pages you could potentially target so that you can get the best ROI.

If you can hold out on starting ads, you could definitely do that too, or else you could use this time to test new markets so you can see what works for you.

This is something, especially if you're an online coach or entrepreneur, to think about when you are creating your launches.  I managed ads for a client who had a launch in Oct/Nov of last year and while the numbers were good, they weren't fabulous. Why?

Natalie MacNeil was going through her launch and she had a budget 10x the size of the budget we had for my client which means we were competing (her target markets were the same) with her.  We still had fabulous results with most of our ads being $2.20 per conversion or less and we brought over 1700 people onto her list in a couple short weeks which rocked.  I have a feeling we could have done much better though if we weren't competing.

Of course, I say that and we are going to start marketing her webinar next week in the middle of this, but fortunately I've got some tricks up my sleeve that will help us rock her webinar.

Still need to run Facebook Ads?

  • Review Audience Insights so you can (see the next bullet point)
  • Target outside of the box (get out of the normal comfort zone).  There are thousands of interests that you can target and get good results from.
  • Test, test, test…. This is not an overnight success. It's not American Idol y'all and you'll be instantly famous. It takes time, test and test again. You'll get there and you'll rock it. Promise.

These are just a few tips I have. Remember, not one size fits all.  Take your time, review and tweak and you'll get there! Connect with me on Facebook for other tips on how to create successful Facebook Ad Campaigns.
